2026 Season Info

Practice Information:

The 2026 Minnesota Bobcats AAU Season will start in mid March and run through June for 4th-8th grades, and through July for 9th-11th grades.

Our teams practice for 90 minutes, 2 times a week, on a weeknight throughout the season, and we attempt to get as many of our teams practicing at one location as possible. Practice nights are determined based on the availability of the team and location availability. Practice locations will include Apple Valley, Eagan, Burnsville, Lakeville, and occasionally Bloomington. Other practice locations are possible based on coach and make-up of the team for example Prior Lake and Shakopee. There is a possibility for the older teams to practices on Sunday nights early in the season when tournaments are not being held. 

 

Tournament Information:

The number and location of tournaments is dependent on the age level.

**Our older elite teams (9th-11th grade) will play in 9-10 events with a mix of local and regional/national tournaments. With a tournament season running from early April to mid July.

**Our older premier and select teams (9th-11th grade) will play in 6 events, 5 local tournaments, and 1 regional tournament. With a tournament season running from early April to early June.

**Our younger elite teams (5th-8th grade) will play in 8 events, 7 local tournaments, and 1 regional tournament. With a tournament season running from early April to late June.

**Our younger premier and select teams (5th-8th grade) will play in 6 events, 5 local tournaments, and 1 regional tournament. With a tournament season running from early April to early June.

**Our 4th grade team will play in 6 local events. With a tournament season running from early April to end of May.

Final tournament schedules for each team will be set by early 2026 after teams are formed and head coaches weigh in on tournament schedules.  Teams that choose to attend additional tournaments outside the set events will be asked to pay additional fees to cover registration and expenses. 

 

Team fees: 

Team fees for the 2026 season will range between $895-$1395 based on each teams tournament schedule.  An initial $350-$400 non-refundable team fee will be due for all players upon roster acceptance.  The next team fee will be the end of January and the balance will be due March 1st.  Payment plans can be arranged as needed.  The team fee is non-refundable unless injury prevents player from participation in the entire 2026 AAU season.  The fee will cover everything except a players expenses to out-of-state tournaments.   All players will get a gear package which includes a jersey and backpack which will be returned at conclusion of season.
